  • Budgetary provisions are already approved for the installation of l75 nos. RIO plants with a total cost of Rs. 163 million before 31.12.2016. This is in addition to the R/O plants being installed by the donors which values over Rs. 50 million,
  • Supply of Domestic Water Filters and Rain Water Tanks
  • 753 Domestic Water filters, produced by the Industrial Technology Institute, has been distributed among the people of the endemic areas.
    • Anuradhapura 200 filters
    • Vavunia 100 filters
    • Badulla 276 filters
    • Kurunegala 177 filters
  • Arrangements are being made to distribute another 710 domestic filters ¡n the near future
  • 50 Rain Water tanks were distributed so far and further supplies of tanks are being arranged according to requirement of the areas.
